The Proctor Rails were trailing 1-0 and down to their last strike of the game when Cody Dolsen hit a pinch-hit single that scored Justin Scanlon from second base. Jimmy Merling followed with an infield hit that scored Pat Everson for the go-ahead run as Proctor defeated Mora in a non-conference baseball game at Mora.

Winning pitcher Jake Lewis (3-0, 1.68 ERA) took a no-hit bid into the seventh inning before surrendering a lead-off single to Bryce Oslin. Oslin was lifted for courtesy runner Chris Sundsvold, who stole second base and subsequently reached third base with two outs, but Lewis retired the next three batters following Oslin to preserve the win.

Lewis allowed an unearned run in the third inning on a hit-batsman, a wild pitch, a passed ball, and an RBI groundout by Michael Humphrey. He allowed one hit and two walks and had five strikeouts in the complete-game effort.

With the win, Lewis improved his career record to 12-1 and is now in sole possession of second-place all-time in PHS history for wins. Lewis trails only Dale Nikko, who won 20 games from 1975-78. Lewis also recorded his tenth career complete game, becoming the seventh pitcher in PHS history to record 10 or more complete games.

Losing pitcher Oslin, who also threw a complete game, allowed two unearned runs on five hits and two walks. He had eight strikeouts.

Tyler Pionk was two-for-four for the Rails, giving him 59 in his career.
