In their second meeting of the season, it was Cromwell taking the win by a score of 40-6. Zion Smith led the way for the Cardinals, as he contributed to four scoring plays.

Zion Smith would get Cromwell going, as he punched it in from the 1-yard line. Smith would help his team get on the board again, connecting with Eli Warpula on a 20-yard pass for six.

Cromwell’s defense would be suffocating, as the Dogs couldn’t get anything going. Nic Johnson would then reel in a 30-yard pass from Eli Warpula. Soon after, Smith would find Dillon Hoff on a 15-yard pass for the score. Just before halftime Cromwell would get points up again, as Smith and Samuel Kemper connected on a long 61-yard pass, leaving the halftime score 34-0.

In the second half, the only scoring the Cardinals would find is two field goals by Carlos Lemoine (38, 25 yards). Scoring for the Dog’s was Senior Marshall Bennett, as he found the end zone from the 2-yard line, making the final 40-6.

Cromwell (5-1) will host McGregor next week, while the Bulldogs (1-5) will visit the Floodwood Polar Bears.
