Jacks Tennis Falls To Duluth Central

Duluth Central swept the entire singles slate clean and the Trojans walked away with an impressive 5-2 win over the Cloquet Lumberjacks in boys tennis on Tuesday afternoon in cold and harsh conditions.

CEC’s lone wins came at # #2 doubles from Luke Heine and Tanner Webster and Josiah Sickler and Camron Hallfrisch at #3 doubles. The CEC #2 doubles team took a 6-3, 6-2 win, while the #3 doubles team won 5-7, 7-6 and 6-0.

Sean Kedrowksi of CEC fell at #1 singles to Chad Bolen 6-3, 6-3. At #2 singles CEC’s John Scheuer dropped a 6-3, 6-2 decision to Cory Bolen. Kyle Stupka of DC defeated Christian Pritchett 6-4, 6-4 at #3 singles and at #4 singles it was Robbie Sobczak of CEC losing 6-1, 6-2 to Brendon Johnson.
