Section 7AA Girls Hockey Seedings Announced

Seedings for the 2011 Section 7AA girls hockey playoffs are out and as a result of their strong season ending run, the Cloquet-Esko-Carlton Lumberjacks received the #2 seed. Proctor-Hermantown-Marshall will also host a home game, receiving the #4 Seed. The #1 overall seed went Elk River-Zimmerman.

The #2 Seed Lumberjacks will host #7 Seed St. Francis-North Branch at 7:00pm Thursday at the Cloquet Area Rec Center. #4 seed PHM will host fellow Lake Superior Conference rival and #5 seed Duluth Stars.

Other first round action will consist of #1 Elk River-Zimmerman hosting #8 Cambridge-Isanti-Mora-Pine City
and #3 seed Grand Rapids-Greenway hosting #6 seed Forest Lake.
