Rails Skate Past Rebels

Derek Dahlgren scored two goals and had two assists as the Proctor Rails skated past the Moose Lake Area Rebels by a score of 7-2 last Thursday in Moose Lake.

The Rails scored four straight goals to get things started as the Rails would take a 2-0 lead after one period and a 4-1 lead after two periods of play. Gus Abrahamson scored the games first goal be fore Dahlgren made it a 2-0 game in favor of the Rails.

Trace Norton and Jake Malec scored in the second period to make it 4-0 before Jesse Granfors scored to cut the lead to 4-1. Teddy Ryan scored for the Rebels in the third period to cut the lead to 4-2, but the Rails would come right back as they scored the next 3 goals of the game to make it a five goal win for the Rails.

Jarek Nordquist, Alex St.Germaine and Dahlgren all scored in the third period as the Rails improved to 7-11 on the season. Matt Johnson was the winning goaltender
