Bombers Roll over Hunters

Brandon Newman scored 34 points as the Barnum Bombers rolled past the Denfeld Hunters Tuesday night by a score of 73-53 at Barnum High School.  The Bombers who lead by five points at halftime 37-32 out scored the Hunters 36-21 in the second half as the Bombers crusied to the twenty point victory.

Hunter Fetters scored 16 points, he was followed by Chris Carlson who chipped in with 8, Mitch Weller ended with 6, Andrew Naslund finished with 4, Tanner Fugelsted scored 3 points and it was Nathan Jelinek rounding out the Bombers scoring with 2 points.

The hunters were led by Sjon Randa who finished with 19 points, Jamarr Harkins and Dez Spencer each scored 7, Spencer Wallner added 6, Marques Jones had 4, and Trevor Otterson, Tom Stolle, Jerrick Ashcroft, Shane Yagoda, and Ron Gibson all closed out with 2 points each.

Barnum will play at Wrenshall on Friday night as they look to move to 14-0, while Duluth Denfeld will face Virginia at home on Thursday.
