The Floodwood Polar Bears remained unbeaten Tuesday night as the Polars defeated the Carlton Bulldogs 100 – 54 in a Polar League match-up at Floodwood High School.

Floodwood had four players reach double figures Tuesday as Riley Bernsdorf led the way with 26 points on the night as Floodwood scored 58 first half points en route to the 46 point victory. Floodwood led 58-29 at halftime and outscored the Bulldogs 42-25 in the second half.

Willow Christenson added 22 points for the Polar Bears while Noah Thompson chipped in with 17, Kyle Tamminen finished with 12 points for the Polar Bears.

The Bulldogs were paced by Cade Pierson who had 13 points including  3 three-pointers, and Tyler Ojibway who also ended the game with 13 points. Adam Ermatinger was the only other Bulldogs in double figures as he finished with 12 points.

The Polar Bears will look to move to 14-0 when they will host Silver Bay on Thursday night, the Bulldogs fell to 4-8 overall on the season and they will be back in action on Friday night when the will host Moose Lake-Willow River.
