The Esko Eskomos used a dominating performance on Tuesday afternoon
when
they upset the previously unbeaten Barnum Bombers by a score of 8-1. Both teams now have 13 wins on the season. This leaves the Polar League Conference Championship open for anyone as the regular season comes to a close this week.

The Eskomos used a dominating pitching performance from Kelsey Saralampi as she gave up just one run on seven hits.
Saralampi had eleven strikeouts and walked two Bomber batters. Katrina Newman was the losing pitcher, giving up eight runs on nine hits. She had five strikeouts and walked five Esko batters.

Offensively, it was Kortney Lindberg who had three hits and two runs batted in for Esko. Erin Emanuel also added two hits for the Eskomos. Farrah Wirtz would add a triple and Katyanna Emanuel also had a triple and two runs batted in. Katie Myhre led the Bombers with two hits and Katrina Newman would have the only run batted in.

The Bombers are now 13-1 on the season and
finish a previously suspended game against
Silver Bay on Wednesday at Esko. They will finish the regular season on Thursday as they play Floodwood at home. Esko improves to 13-5 on the season and will play Silver Bay on Wednesday and face Moose Lake Willow River Thursday in Willow River.
