Panthers Top Bulldogs

The South Ridge Panthers tallied another victory on Monday night, topping the Carlton Bulldogs 79-28.

The Panthers got out to a massive lead at half, up 60-17. The Panthers also outscored the Bulldogs 19-11 in the second half to secure the victory.

Krystal Karppinen led the way for the Panthers, scoring 24 points. Mikayla Olesiak followed with 20 points in the victory. Also scoring for the Panthers was Lindsey Janke with 12, RyAnna Anvide with 9, Gracelynn Otis with 6, Justice Janke with 4, and Morgan Cherne and Celia Olesiak topping it off with 2 a piece.

In the loss for the Bulldogs, Jenna Reed scored a team high 11 points. Ashley Anderson had 8, Abby Lemke scored 3, and Millie Groth, Nikki Ojibway, and Mackenzie Goranson all scored 2 each.

The Panthers improve to 7-2 on the year and will host the Esko Eskomos on January 8th. The Bulldogs fall to 1-8 on the season and will look to bounce back against Wrenshall on the road on January 8th.
