Rebel Boys Pick up OT Win

The Moose Lake Area Rebels boys hockey team picked up a 7-6 win over Ely in the North Shore Holiday Tournament in the 7th place game as the Rebels picked up their second win of the season.

Bryceton Butkiewicz notched three goals including the game winner in overtime, Butkiewicz also finished with three assists in the victory over the Timberwolves.

Logan McNaulty was the winning goaltender as he finished with 32 saves for the Rebels.

The Rebels followed up the win over Ely with a loss to the Mora Mustangs by a score of 13-3. Mora scored 8 second period goals following a first period that ended with the Mustangs leading 3-2.

Teddy Ryan scored two goals in the loss for the Rebels. Noah Foster had the hat trick for the Mustangs while his line-mate Tyler Larsen finished with 4 assists.
