Kyle Klatt scored four goals and had two assists as the Lumberjacks exploded for seven second period goals en-route to a 10-1 victory Saturday afternoon at Northwoods Credit Union Arena.

Following a scoreless first period the Lumberjacks reeled off seven goals in the second period, starting with Klatt to make it 1-0, Koby Bender made it 2-0 at 3:28 of the second and Tyler Chicos made it 3-0 before the Fighting Saints cut the lead to 3-1 following a goal by Derek Brack.

The lumberjacks would add four more goals in a little over four minutes late int he second period, Cole Litsey scored at 12:24, Klatt scored the next three goals, one at 14:10 and the next game at 15:56 and the last coming at 16:38 of the second.

With the Lumberjacks leading 7-1 heading into the third period Koby Bender scored his second goal of the game at 3:31 of the third period, Ryan Schramm made it 9-1 at 7:34, and Tyler Chicos capped off the scoring at 9:50 to give the Jacks their 10th win of the season.

Casey Holshouser stopped 14 of the 15 shots he faced for the victory int he nets. Cloquet-Esko-Carlton will be back in action Tuesday night then they will host Hibbing-Chisholm at Northwoods Credit Union Arena.
