Things started a little slow on Tuesday night for the Moose Lake Area boys hockey team, but the Rebels responded with an impressive 4-2 come-from-behind win over Mora-Hinckley-Finlayson.

M-HF took a 1-0 lead at the 5:17 mark of the first period and that stood until Tyler Cisar scored at 6:52 of period two on a power play with assists going to Zach Cisar and Josh Cisar. However, M-HF regained the lead at 8:01 on a goal by Michael Humphrey. Before the second period ended the Rebels had evened the score at 2-2 when Tyler Cisar notched his second goal of the game on the power play at the 12:42 mark.

The Rebels took the lead for the first time, and for good, at 8:51 of the third period on a Michael Gassert goal with Chris Gassert getting the lone assist. At 13:46 the Rebels put the icing on the cake on the third goal of the game by Tyler Cisar as both Zach and Josh Cisar assisted.

MLA goalie Austin Lanoue finished with a total of 30 saves on 32 shots, while the Rebels put 26 shots on M-HF goalie Bronson Rosati who finished with 22 saves.
