Spartans edge Panthers

CULVER, Minn— The Nashwauk-Keewatin Spartans beat the South Ridge Panthers by one point in the final minute of the game tonight with a score of 65-64.

The teams played evenly the entire game, with a tied score of 35 at half time. The Panthers were up by two points with under two minutes left in the game, but the Spartans came back and took home the win.

South Ridge was led by Senior Levi McGraw with 18 points including four 3-pointers, followed by Junior Spencer Stroschein with 13. Senior Kaleb Dallmann and Sophomore Christian Houle each added 12 points

Nashwauk  Keewatin was led by Zach Bantner with 19 points including five 3-pointers, followed by Alex Otterbein with 11 points. Jesse Nelson and Marek Cobb each added 10 points.

The Panthers will take on the Northeast Range Nighthawks on Monday at South Ridge, game time is 6:30 p.m. Nashwauk-Keewatin will be in McGregor on Tuesday, game time there is 7:00 p.m.
