The Hermantown Hawks girls basketball team remained hot with a 76 to 21 win over visiting Duluth Marshall on Friday night. The win is the Hawks fifth straight, dating back to mid-December.


Hermantown used a balanced scoring attack with a total of 11 players scoring in the win led by 12 points each from Mary Neumann and Katie Thun.


Others scoring for the Hawks were Carmen Bergstedt with 11, Rachael Hoium with 8, and Jess Harper 7. Molly Kolquist, Andrea Ruberg, and Nicole Kucza all ended with 6 points each, Melissa Madison and Emily Neumann with 3 points each and Andrea Enockson with 2 points.


The win extends Hermantown’s record to 8-3 on the season. They will be back in action on Tuesday when they travel to Superior to take on the Spartans.
