The Proctor Rails finished the regular season with a big victory on Wednesday night. The Rails rolled up 300 total yards in taking a 40-0 win over the Hibbing Blue Jackets.

Jake Malec was huge for the Rails as he finished with 114 yards on the ground in just five attempts.

Malec opened the game with a 51 yard touchdown run in the first quarter and that was followed by a 16-yard touchdown run by Jack Chalstrom and a 10-yard run for a score by Tanner Haedrich. Luke Hannan booted the extra point on all three scores and the Rails led it 21-0 after the opening quarter.

The second quarter was more of the same for the Rails as Collin Ganem scored on a 10-yard touchdown scamper and that was followed by Malec who had scoring runs of 20 yards and 14 yards as Proctor built the lead to 40-0 at halftime.

The Rails finished the regular season at 4-4 and 4-2 in the Sea Range Conference. Proctor gained the #3 seed in the Section 7AAA tournament and will host the #6 seed Virginia Blue Devils on Tuesday night in Proctor.
