Esko ends on Winning Note

It has been a tough season for the Esko volleyball team. Perennially the Eskomos are the toughest team in the Polar League, but this season the Eskomos have struggled in big matches and were unable to claim the league title. On Tuesday night the Eskomos picked up a little momentum before the playoffs by staking claim to a 25-14, 23-25, 25-19 and 25-12.

Maria Houser directed the Eskomo offense with 25-set assists and Molly Trapp powered down 22-kills and added in four blocks. Michaela Rust chipped in with seven kills, Mackenzie Holland added four ace serves, Karinne Houser had five blocks and Judy Wagemaker recorded six digs.

Leading Floodwood was Megan Aho with eight kills and 13-digs, Marissa Johnson recorded 15-ditgs and Amanda Baker added nine digs.
