Cloquet Wins Esko Invitational

The Cloquet Lumberjacks defeated the host Esko Eskomos in the championship game of the Esko Volleyball Tournament over the weekend. The Jacks won the title by beating Esko 25-18 and 25-22 in the title tilt.

Cloquet reached the finals by taking earlier wins over Moose Lake Willow River, Warroad and Superior. Esko gained the finals by beating South Ridge and Hermantown after a first round loss to International Falls.

The third place game saw Warroad knock off Hermantown 17-25, 25-21 and 15-12. Fifth place went to South Ridge which defeated Superior 25–17, 25-15 and seventh place was taken by International Falls which defeated Moose Lake-Willow River 25-20 and 25-20.
