The Duluth Marshall Hilltoppers and Proctor Rails battled to 1-1 tie to end their regular season on Monday night.

The Proctor Rails got on the scoreboard first when Jen Thiry hit Lexie DeWall with the pass for the score at the 31st minute to give the Rails the slight 1-0 lead. That lead didn’t last long, however, when Alli McKenna scored from a Megan Coughlan pass at the 35th minute to notch it at 1-1, which would be the final result of the evening.

Anna Thickens had a huge game in the net for the Hilltoppers, stopping an impressive 18 shots. Chiara DeLuca blocked 5 for Proctor in the tie.

Duluth Marshall moved to 7-7-1 to end the regular season. Their playoff opponent has yet to be determined. Proctor is now 6-7-2 on the year and also has not had their playoff opponent determined.
