Denfeld Falls To Big Lake 62-6

The Duluth Denfeld Hunters fell to the Big Lake Hornets by a score of 62-6 on Friday night.

The Hunters were outscored 55-0 before they got their lone score on the board, when Terrance Wetzel punched it in from 2 yards out.

The Hunters surrendered 5 scoring plays of 40 yards or longer, including 3 coming in the air. Duluth Denfeld allowed 220 yards throughout the air as their fell in the Mississipi 8 conference battle.

The Hunters fall to 0-6 on the season and will battle their rivals, the Duluth East Greyhounds (0-6) in what could be their last match-up ever. That game will be played at Duluth East on October 10th.
