Esko Rushes Past Proctor

The Esko Eskomos picked up a huge sectional victory Friday night as the Eskomos rushed past the Rails by a score of 29-23. Jaxon Turner rushed for 226 yards on the night and scored two of the Eskomos touchdowns in their last home game of the regular season.

On a night that was more fitting for polar bears the Eskomos overcame 4 fumbles and twice overcame Proctor leads as the Eskomos picked up a huge sectional victory. Turner broke off huge runs several times throughout the night including a 32 yard touchdown run. Turner had seven runs of over 10 yards on the night.

Nick Emmanuel quarterback of the Eskomos rushed 6 times for 73 yards and also connected with Aaron Olson on an 27 yard touchdown pass in the third quarter. Emmanuel threw only two passes, completing both to Olson for 43 yards and he scored on a 9 yard touchdown run.

Rails Quarterback Jake Malec led the Rails who pounded the ground attack throughout the night rushed for 125 yards including a late touchdown which cut the Esko lead to 29-23. The Rails had one last chance but on the Rails last drive the Eskomos defense stepped up big with a key interception with 2:02 remaining as it sealed the Eskomos win.
