Carlton kept their winning streak intact and Brooke Tondryk-Lee continues to impress in her first season of coaching high school softball. The Bulldogs defeated Chisholm 13-6 on Friday night and their win streak has now reached 9 games.

Mia Saunders continues to be impressive on the mound for the Bulldogs as she notched another big win over the Bluestreaks. Earlier in the week, Saunders had pitched the Bulldogs to a 4-3 victory over Silver Bay for the first win in a long time for Carlton over the Mariners. In a 7-inning complete game effort, the senior hurler fanned 9 batters and gave up 10 hits.

Leading the Bulldogs on offense
was Melissa Clark and Megan Nelson. Clark finished with 3 hits including a pair of doubles and Nelson recorded 3 hits including 2 runs batted in.

The win gives the Bulldogs a record of 12-4 on the season. Carlton will be back in action on Tuesday when they close out the regular season by traveling to Nashwauk-Keewatin.
