The Rebecca Takkunen Memorial Softball Tournament concluded on Saturday at Braun Park in Cloquet.
The hosting Cloquet Lumberjacks gave a solid opening performance, but the youthful Jacks eventually fell in the third place game.
The tournament was won by Chaska for the second year in a row.
Cloquet opened the tournament by walloping Holy Angels Academy 11-0 as Katrina Korman shut down the Stars bats.
Korman also drilled an opening inning double to score Courtney Esse as Cloquet raced to the win.

Cloquet, Chaska, Bemidji and Rice Lake all opened the tournament with wins and in the semi finals it was Cloquet facing Bemidji and Chaska taking on Rice Lake.
Bemidji proved to be too much for the youthful Jacks to handle in the semi finals as Cloquet fell 11-2.
The Bemidji Lumberjacks are coached by Brad Takkunen the brother of the tournament’s namesake.
Meanwhile, it was Chaska overcoming a stubborn Rice Lake, Wisconsin squad as Chaska notched an extra inning 1-0 victory.

Championship game action saw Chaska parlay a strong pitching performance into a 6-2 win over Bemidji, while Cloquet fell in the third place game to Rice Lake by a 4-0 score.
