For a while on Tuesday night the Proctor Rails probably wondered just what they had to do in order to get pucks past Greenway goalie Erikur Arnason. For two periods Arnason faced wave after wave of Rail shots, but kept his team within a goal of Proctor. In the third period the Rails managed to get two shots past Arnason for a bit of breathing room as Proctor came away with a 5-2 win at Proctor Arena.

The Rails got the only two goals of the first period on markers by Tyler Pionk and Ian Ecklund 56 seconds and 3:55 respectively.

In the second period it was Ecklund making it 3-0 at 3:57, but the Raiders fought back and picked up two goals before the period ended to cut the lead to 3-2. The Raiders goals were scored by Tyler Haigh and Derek Staydohar.

Proctor put the third period out of reach with goals by Brandon Morin and a second goal by Pionk, giving the Rails their fifth win of the season against only one loss. Thus far this season Proctor has outscored its opponents 46-12.

For the game the Rails outshot the Raiders 48-14. Brody Morin picked up the win in the nets for Proctor.
