Hawks Shut-out Eskomos

Hermantown picked up a big win in local girls soccer play on Thursday afternoon by defeating Esko 3-0 as Delaney Vavra provided five saves in picking up the shutout win.

Alyssa Siljendahl picked up the first goal of the game in the 27th minute with Sophie McGovern adding the assist. Hermantown added another goal just 11-minutes later when Callie Hoff took a feed from McGoveern to make it 2-0 at halftime.

Siljendahl picked up her second goal of the game at the 41st minute mark in the second half and that ended the scoring as the Hawks picked up an important win over the Eskomos.
