Cloquet-Esko-Carlton left little to the imagination in a 7-0 romp over Duluth Denfeld in girls high school tennis on Thursday afternoon. The Jacks dominated in both singles and doubles play, but they were so dominant in singles play that they never let the Hunters believe they could win.

Rosalie Lundquist opened with a convincing 6-1, 6-2 win over Kayla Templer and the rout was on. At #2 singles it was Kali Kadelbach sweeping to a 6-1, 6-0 win over Anna Leopold and at #3 it was McKenzie Ketola winning by the same score over Morgan Bergman. Lindsay Lamirande took a #4 singles win 6-0, 6-1 over Madi Morse to complete the dominating singles performance.

In doubles play the CEC #1 team of Abbey Wangen and Courtney Ketola had to fight hard to come away with a win, but in the end the result was a 6-1, 4-6, 10-4 victory over Cassie Bolen and Kaylin Boynton. Lexi Robideaux and Haily Martin nabbed a #2 doubles win by beating Karyn Boynton and Nikki Hill 6-2, 6-1 and the shutout continued when Annika Hammit and Courtney Beaupre of CEC downed Val Turchi and Janessa Kuhlmey 6-0, 6-0.
