The Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels picked up their 15th win of the season with a three games to two victory over the Cook County Vikings Thursday night in Moose Lake.

The Rebels after falling in the first set 25-9 responded winning the next two sets 25-12 and 27-25. Cook County stormed back taking the fourth set 25-20, before the Rebels responded with a 15-9 win the the last set to take the match 3-2.

The Rebels were led by Lauren Ross who finished with 37 set assists and she added 3 ace serves, Karina Cisar had 13 kills and 24 digs, Adri Jusczak finished with 20 kills and Ally Bode ended with 20 digs on the night.

The Vikings were led by Meredith Sutton who had 8 kills and 7 ace serves, Jamie Shifted who had 19 digs, and Linda Sutton who had 9 kills  4 ace serves, and 18 digs.

The Rebels move to 15-3 on the season and they will be in action again Tuesday night when they will host the Wrenshall Wrens in a conference match-up. The Vikings fall to 7-5 on the season and they will play at Silver Bay Monday night.
