Barnum 93 Carlton 31

The Barnum Bombers opened Polar League play with a dominating performance over the Carlton Bulldogs. Jessica Newman score 37 points, 33 in the first half as the Bombers move to 3-0 on the season. Katie Myhre added 16 points and two 3-pointers in the home win.

Cherry 50 AlBrook 35

Breena Alfredson and Taylor Sauter each scored 14 points as the Tigers broke open the game in the second half as they win by 15 points at home. Cherry led by one point at halftime and outscored the Falcons by 14 in the second half. Kendra Dallman scored 11 points for AlBrook.

Boys Basketball

Isle 50 Cromwell 38

Trailing by one point at halftime the Isle huskies rallied to down the Cardinals by 12 points in the second half in Cromwell. Pat Dahl hit three 3-pointers in the loss for Cromwell as they open the season with a loss at home. Jordan Suhonen scored 8 points for the Cards.
