Esse Gets First Collegiate Goal For UWS

Former CEC hockey standout Courtney Esse recorded her first collegiate goal on Friday evening, helping the UWS Yellowjackets to a tie with Adrian College.

Esse’s goal at 2:19 of the third period tied the game at 1-1, a score that would hold up through the end of regulation and overtime.

The Yellowjackets are off to a great start with a 5-1-1 overall record on the 2010-2011 season.
