Hermantown’s Bri Davis Leads UWS to Season Opening Win

Bri Davis from Hermantown High School led all scorers with 16 points to lead UWS to an 86-62 win over the College of St. Scholastica Monday night in Superior.

Davis, a junior forward shot 7-9 from the field and contributed five rebounds to help secure the season opening win for UWS. Fellow Northland athlete Hillary Peterson from Moose Lake-Willow River added 9 points and four rebounds in 15 minutes of play for the Yellowjackets.

With the win UWS is 1-0 on the season and will be back in action on Friday and Saturday when they compete in the Crown College Tournament.
