The Duluth East Greyhound fell to the Blaine Bengals 1-0 on Saturday afternoon. This is the second consecutive game that the Greyhounds have dropped by a score of 1-0, dropping their season opener to Andover.

Against Blaine, senior goal keeper, Hugh VanScoy stopped 10 shots with Blaine only goal coming 8 minutes into the game.

With the loss to Blaine, that is their second consecutive loss to a 7AA rival, but they will look to bounce back on August 25th when they take on the Park of Cottage Grove Wolfpack (2-0) on the road with a 5:00 PM start. The Greyhounds home opener will be on August 29th when they play Minnetonka with a 3:00 PM start.
