Marshall Upsets Rochester Lourdes

After starting their season off with a 5-3 loss to Benilde St. Margarets, they bounced back with an upset win over Rochester Lourdes, who are currently ranked 7th in the state.  The Hilltoppers got the victory by a low scoring 1-0.

The game went into the half notched at 0-0, but Jack Dodd’s goal in the 49th minute propelled the Hilltoppers to victory. Makaio Goods assisted on Dodd’s goal. In the net, Nate Sepp came up big with four huge saves. The Hilltoppers got off nine shots on goal against Rochester Lourdes.

The Hilltoppers are now 1-1 on the season and will play the Hermantown Hawks (2-0) next on August 26th at home with a start of 4:00 PM.
