The Floodwood Polar Bears will look to have another great fall, which would include a return trip to the 9-man Football State Tournament.

The Polar Bears football team will look to defend their Section 7A 9-man title this season after making their first ever trip down to State last season. The Polar Bears went 11-1 last season with their only loss coming down at the State Tournament to Ely. The Polar Bears will look to have another successful season, kicking their year off against Onamia on August 28th and their home opener coming a week later against Hill City.

The volleyball team will look to improve on their 8-17 record from a year ago. The Polar Bears will rely on their leadership from their three seniors and four juniors. They kick their season off on the road on August 26th against Section 7A runners-up, the McGregor Mercuries. Their first home game will take place on September 4th against Silver Bay.

Boys and girls cross country will have their first meet on August 28th when they travel to Cook County to run.
