Lady Bulldogs Down Cromwell 11-4

For the second time in as many days, the Carlton Lady Bulldogs played the part of host in a girls’ softball game. And for the second time in two days, they came out the winner. Tuesday, it was Carlton topping Cromwell 11-4 at Chub Lake Field.


Mia Saunders picked up the win with a strong five inning performance in which she gave three hits and struck out seven.


On the offensive end, Amanda Eggert went 3-4 with a triple and 2 RBIs. Holly Nelson was 2-4 at the plate with two doubles and 2 RBIs.


Aly Koivisto led the Cards with 2 hits.


With Tuesday’s win, the Lady Bulldogs extend their win streak to seven games and are now 10-4 on the season. Carlton will continue its busy week by hosting Silver Bay on Thursday and traveling to Chisholm on Friday. Cromwell will host AlBrook on Monday.
