The Lady Bombers softball team continues to roll through the regular season, improving their record to 8-0 with a 10-0 win over Hinckley-Finlayson on Monday afternoon. The Bombers would go on
to win the game in five innings
because the Jaguars could not stop the Bombers in Hinckley.

Katie Myhre would get the no hitter on Monday as the Bombers roll in the ten-run win. This was Katie’s first no hitter at the varsity level. She is now 7-0 on the mound for the Bombers. Katie Struck out eight and walked only one batter; otherwise it would have been a perfect game.

The Bombers were led offensively by Jessica Newman, who was two for two for the Bombers and scored two runs in the win. Katie Myhre also added to her own cause at the plate as she finished with two hits as well in the Barnum victory.

Barnum looks to remain unbeaten on Thursday, as they will play the equally as hot Moose Lake-Willow River Rebels. The Rebels enter the game with a record of 8-1 on the season. Hinckley-Finlayson falls to 3-11 on the season and are in action again on Tuesday afternoon as they host Rush City.
