The Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Thunder women’s volleyball team is still looking for their first win of the season after dropping a 25-7, 25-16 and 25-17 decision to Itasca Community College last night in Grand Rapids.

After struggling in game one the Thunder played a bit more consistently in games two and three, but it still wasn’t enough to win on the road.

Cloquet’s Rachel Sanda was strong in the back row for the Thunder with 16 digs, while Amber Gregg also of Cloquet had 6 kills and 7 digs. Rita Aspinwall of Elk River helped run the offense with 12 set assists, while Katrina Anderson of Carlton added 3 blocks.
