Lady Bulldogs Continue Hot Streak

The Carlton Lady Bulldogs have been on a tear this season and they continued to roll on Friday night when they topped the Mesabi East Giants 6-3.

Grace Macor recorded the victory for the Bulldogs, pitching 7 innings, allowing 4 hits and striking out 10 batters. Macor also did it on the offensive side, going 3-3 with 2 triples and 3 runners batted in. Hannah Benson went 2-2 with a triple and 1 RBI and Brianna Walton went 2-4, recorded a stolen base, and scored twice.

The Bulldogs are now 7-0 on the year and have a full schedule ahead of them as they play 3 games in a tournament in Deer River on May 10th, then they travel to East Central on Monday, Ely on Tuesday, and Esko on Wednesday before they have a day off.
