Hermantown Topples Esko

The Hermantown Hawks softball team powered past the Esko Eskomos on Friday, winning 11-1 in 6 innings.

Kylie Hoff recorded the win for the Hawks, going 6 innings allowing 1 earned run on 5 hits and fanning 10. Macy Francisco led the offensive way going 3-4 with a double, HR, 2 RBI’s and 3 runs scored. Jordyn Thomas went 4-4 while driving 3 runners in.

Taking the loss for the Eskomos was Kiana Jablonski who pitched 3 innings, allowed 2 hits and 2 earned runs. Ashley Bergerson went 2-3 for the Eskomos and drove in their lone run on the evening.

The Hermantown Hawks improve to 6-3 on the season and will look for another victory on May 10th when they play Pine City and Mora in a double header. The Eskomos fall to 4-3 on the year and will look to bounce back against the Proctor Rails on May 12th.
