Esko Remains Perfect On The Season

The Esko Eskomo girls volleyball team continued with their success this season as the Eskomos swept Polar League Conference rival Moose Lake-Willow River in three straight games, 25-4, 25-13 and 25-17. The Eskomos completed the sweep at home and are still undefeated on the young season.


The Eskomos were paced by Keely Deadrick who finished with 20 set assists, she also added 3 ace servers. Steph Bandelin finished with 13 kills on the night for Esko. Janae Beaudot also added 6 digs in the win. Alyson Glumac ended with 7 kills and 3 blocks, and Danielle Salo also finished with 3 blocks on the night.


The Rebels were paced on the evening by Maddy Adamczak, who had 10 set assists and 7 digs, Sheenagh Caroline added 5 kills to go along with her 9 digs on the night. Hayley Johnson also finished with 7 digs for the Rebels as they fall on the road Thursday night.


Esko moves to 11-0 overall on the season and they are in action again next Tuesday at home when they face another Polar League rival the Carlton Bulldogs. Moose Lake –Willow River falls to 3-9 on the season and they will host the Hermantown Hawks next Tuesday night in Moose Lake.
