The Lady Bulldogs recorded yet another win behind a complete game, two-hit pitching performance by Mia Saunders,
topping the AlBrook falcons 5-4 at Chub Lake Field on Monday.

Saunders has committed to play softball next season for the Fond du Lac Tribal and Community College Thunder. That commitment has coincided with a strong performance in the field, at the plate and at the mound this softball season for the Carlton Bulldogs.

Saunders aided her own cause at the plate with a pair of hits. Brooke Camps, Megan Nelson, and McKinzie Bellanger also had two hits each
for the Bulldogs, with both
Nelson and Bellanger
pounding out a double.
Carlton scored all five of their runs in the fourth inning.

Laurel Morris punched out a pair of hits for the Falcons.

With the win, Carlton moves to 8-4 on the season. The victory over AlBrook
starts a busy week out on the right foot for the Lady Bulldogs. They will host Cromwell on Tuesday and Silver Bay on Thursday. The Bulldogs finish up the week by traveling to Chisholm on Friday.

AlBrook will be back in action
on Tuesday when they travel to Floodwood to take on the Polar Bears.
