The Duluth East Greyhounds and Hermantown Hawks matched up on Monday. The game wouldn’t even be close as the Greyhound powered by the Hawks 11-0 in 5 innings.

The winning pitcher in the matchup was Willem Aldridge who allowed 1 hit in 5 innings pitched, struck out 5 and walked 3. Aldridge also did it on the offensive side of the ball, going 3-4 with a double and a RBI. Chris Olson went 2-2 with a double and RBI, Nick Anderson drove in 2 runs while going 2-3 and Frankie Hanson went a perfect 3-3 with 2 RBI’s.

The Greyhound improve to 6-2 on the season and will match up with the Duluth Denfeld Hunters in a double header on May 9th. Games will start at 4PM and 6PM. The Hawks drop to 1-2 on the year and will look to bounce back against the Hunters on May 6th.
