Cloquet Improves to 6-0

The Cloquet Lumberjacks and the Virginia Blue Devils squared off on Monday afternoon. The Lumberjacks improved to 6-0 on the season, topping the Blue Devils 7-1 in the match-up.

The Lumberjacks winning pitcher on the evening was Chandler Beaupre who pitched a complete game, giving up 1 run on 5 hits and striking out 6 batters.

On the offensive end, Breanne Baker went 2-4 with a triple and Cassidy Steen went 2-4 with a double to help secure their 6th win of the season.

The Lumberjacks will look to keep their flawless record when they play the Superior Spartans on Tuesday, May 6th.
