The Barnum Bombers finally got outside to play a game, but they had to switch it to their opponents field, as the Bombers traveled to Chub Lake to play the Bulldogs in a home game. The Bombers would come out victorious, topping the Bulldogs 11-1 in 6 innings.

The winning pitcher for the Bombers was Zac Carlson who went 4 innings striking out 4 batters, allowing 2 hits and giving up one run. The offense was propelled by Nathan Duesler who went 2-2, drove in two runs while scoring 2 others and drawing two walks. Chris Carlson also had a nice day, scoring 3 runs while going 1-1, driving in 2 runs and walking twice.

Taking the loss for the Bulldogs was Dominic Bennett who pitched 3 innings, allowing 3 earned runs without allowing a hit but walked 6 batters which is what ended up hurting the Bulldogs on the evening. Evan Gray went 2-3 for the Bulldogs and drove in their lone RBI on the evening. Trevor Nelson went 1-2 and Bennett went 1-3 in the loss.

The Bombers improve to 1-0 on the year and will play the MLWR Rebels on May 6th. The Bulldogs fall to 1-5 on the year and will have a couple days off before they play the Silver Bay Mariners on May 8th at home.
