Lady Bulldogs Win Again

One of the Section 7A favorites, the Carlton Lady Bulldogs, notched another victory to their flawless record on Friday night. The Bulldogs toppled the Hinckley-Finlayson Jaguars, 15-1 in 5 innings.

The Bulldogs got out to an early 8-1 lead by the end of the 3rd inning and they never looked back as they would cruise to the 15-1 victory to secure their 6th win of the year.

Once again, the winning pitcher for the Bulldogs was Grace Macor who went 5 innings strong, struck out 9 batters while allowing 1 run on 1 hit. The offense for the Bulldogs was powered by Hannah Benson who went 2-2 with a double, driving in 1 run and scoring a run of her own. Brianna Walton also had a nice day at the plate for the Bulldogs, going 3-3 and scoring a run. Macor scored 3 runs for the Bulldogs in the win as well.

The Bulldogs are a perfect 6-0 on the season and will battle the Barnum Bombers on Monday, May 5th at Chub Lake.
