Barnum Opens Season 1-0

The Barnum Lady Bombers softball team got out on the fields Tuesday evening when they took on the Bombers from Braham. Barnum would shut Braham out, winning the matchup 4-0 to secure their first victory of the season.

The winning pitcher for the Bombers was Lauren Hultgren who pitched  a complete game shutout that included 5 strikeouts. The offense was led by Cheyanne Johnson who went 2 for 3 and hit a solo home run to help the Bombers to the first win of the season.

The Bombers start the season 1-0 and are scheduled to play next on April 25th against Rush City if weather permits and the fields are dry enough.
