Two Harbors Opens Season With Victory

The Two Harbors Agates finally were able to get on the diamond when they took on the Cook County Vikings Tuesday night. The Agates would come out victorious, taking the first game of the season by a 6-1 score.

Mark Pearson would be the winning pitcher for the Agates pitching 7 strong, allowing 1 run on 4 hits while striking out 4. Tim Bott and Pearson would lead the offensive attack with 2 hits a piece and driving in 2 runs a piece. Alex Lemke would add 2 hits in the victory as well.

The Agates begin their season 1-0 and will look to host the Wrenshall Wrens on Thursday, April 24th if the fields are ready. The Vikings drop to 0-1 to begin the season but will travel to play Silver Bay on April 24th.
