Things didn’t get an easier for the Cloquet-Esko-Carlton girls tennis team on Tuesday. After suffering a couple of disheartening losses in the past week the Jacks have struggled to find wins, and Tuesday night was no different in a 7-0 shutout loss to Hibbing.

Only one CEC player, Michaela Houser, won more than one game in a set and that was in her 6-3, 6-1 loss to Mikaela Krampatitch. Kelsey Collier lost at #1 singles 6-0, 6-0, Reilly Kedrowski fell at #2 singles 6-0, 6-1, Houser lost at #3 and Kristen Chalich fell 6-0, 6-0.

Things weren’t much better in doubles play as the Bluejackets continued their dominance. At #1 doubles the CEC team of Asha Fritsinger and Kalie Shevich dropped a 6-1, 6-0 match. The #2 team of Lizz Jezierski and Steph Campbell lost 6-0, 6-2 and at #3 doubles it was Breanne Baker and Alyssa Acheson falling 6-1, 6-2.
