The Cloquet-Esko-Carlton girl’s tennis team saw both ends of the competitive spectrum on Friday morning. After opening with a 7-0 loss against Duluth East the Lady Jacks bounced back to down Duluth Denfeld/Central 5-2.

At #3 singles it was CEC’s Kristin Chalich losing 6-0, 6-2 and Lora Chalich lost at #4 singles by a 6-0, 6-1 score.

The #1 CEC doubles team of Savanna Ellena and Reilly Kedrowski were beaten 6-2, 6-1 by Grace Heger and Sarah Zimmerman. At #2 singles the CEC team of Asha Fritzinger and Kalie Shevich were downed by Katie Tomouskie and Elise Hauer 6-0, 6-1 and the #3 doubles team from CEC of Lizz Jezierski and Steph Campbell lost 6-2, 6-1.
