Esko 9-10yr Olds Make the Area Proud

As the summer enters the Dog Days of August there is a celebration of sorts happening in Esko. A 9-10 year old Little League team called the Esko Nitro captured the District 3 Championship and moved to the state tournament where they finished in second place.

Esko knocked of Lake Park of Duluth on July 19th in the championship game of the District 3 Tournament to advance to the state tournament the state tournament which was held in Coon Rapids on the weekend of July 30th and 31st.

Players on the Nitro are; Dane Stoyanoff, Riggs Olson, Tyler Peterson, Ryan Nelson, Branden Matteen, Adam Luing, Eric Rish, Quin Fischer, Carter Northey, Brody Kaldahl, Jake Erickson, Brendan Durand.
