Carlton Squashes Onamia

The Carlton Lady Bulldogs hosted the Onamia Panthers on Monday night. The Bulldogs would come out with the hard fought victory, winning 76-58.

The Bulldogs held a slight advantage at the half, up by a slim 32-28 lead. However, the Bulldogs would pull away in the second half, outscoring the Panthers 44-30, en route to the victory.

The Bulldogs were lead by Karly Voge who had a game high 21 points for the Bulldogs. Ashley Anderson and Myranda Papesh would also put in nice performances on the night, scoring 17 and 11 respectively. Also scoring on the night was Taylor Klassen with 9, Amelia Groth with 8, Jenna Reed and Nikki Ojibway each tallying 4, and Abby Lemke and Vanessa Davis topping it off with 1 a piece.

The Panthers were lead by Anna Keehr who had a team high 18 points and MacKenzie Morin who hit double figures with 11 in the loss.

The Bulldogs improve to 5-17 on the season and will play the Chisholm Bluestreaks (13-10) at home on February 27th. The Onamia Panthers fell to 3-19 with the loss.
