Hermantown Falls To Ashland

The Hermantown Hawks fell to the Ashland Oredockers on Friday night. The Oredockers edged the Hawks 55-52.

At the half, the Hawks were down 31-29. The Oredockers would outscore the Hawks 24-23 in the second half while on their way to the 55-52 win.

The Hawks were lead by Alex Vittorio and Kole Zuidmulder in the loss. They both would tally 11 points in the loss. Cade Zacharias and Thomas Madison each added 9 points, Zack Brendon scored 4, Christian Comstock and Xavier Gow each put up 3 points and Justin Brendon tallied 2 to top it off on the evening.

The Oredockers were led by Thomas Whiting who scored a game high 13 points and Tyler Hunt and Brendan Carter who each scored 11 points.

The Hawks fall to 15-9 on the season, but will look to bounce back against the Hibbing Bluejackets (9-13) on February 18th. The Oredockers improved to 15-4 on the year.
